Free yourself from chronic pain

We know that living with chronic pain can be frustrating, but we’re here to help you get back on the path to wellness. Our team are committed to helping you find the treatment that will work for you. That’s why we offer so many non-surgical options like Shockwave Therapy!

What Is Shockwave Therapy

Shockwave therapy is a medical procedure that uses shockwaves to stimulate blood flow in a particular area of the body.

It is also known as extracorporeal shockwave therapy (ESWT) and it is used to treat some types of chronic pain, including plantar fasciitis and tennis elbow.

Shockwaves are generated by an electronic device that sends acoustic waves into the body. The waves are transmitted through a probe, which sits on the skin over the area to be treated.

The sound waves cause microtrauma in the tissues which leads to an inflammatory response that speeds up the healing process. This is why it is most effective in treating chronic injuries or pain which have been around for a long time.

Cannot rate highly enough. Over the years I've visited for a range of issues and each time they've been able to help both in the immediate and long term. It's easy to make appointments and so affordable too. A physio you can actually look forward to visiting!

Would definitely recommend. I booked an appointment after injuring myself during the race. The physio gave me a rehab program to follow which was clearly explained during the session and emailed to me with instructional vids. I am now, thankfully, back running again and using the stretches and strengthening excercises suggested by them to prevent any further injury.
